In the US, Northwest Parkway expands solar program and unveils new brand identity

The new solar panels add 88.5 kW of capacity, bringing Northwest Parkway’s total solar production to over 150 kW. Installed on building rooftops and along the highway, these systems now provide around 75% of the energy needs for the Parkway’s administrative and maintenance facilities. A new project is already underway to reach 100% renewable coverage in the coming years.

Building on more than a decade of solar initiatives, Northwest Parkway’s renewable installations have already produced over 1,400 MWh of renewable energy and avoided more than 1,100 tons of CO₂ emissions. This long-term effort reflects VINCI Highways’ commitment to strengthen environmental performance across its network in the United States and internationally. 

Since joining VINCI Highways and in line with its environmental ambition, the Parkway has implemented a series of upgrades, from expanding its solar program to installing LED lighting and adding EV charging stations. Building on this progress, it is further reducing its footprint by transitioning service vehicles to electric, lowering energy and natural gas use, and exploring new renewable opportunities.

The Parkway also introduced its new brand identity, inspired by Colorado’s natural landscapes. The redesigned logo evokes the region’s mountains and open plains, symbolizing Northwest Parkway’s role as a connector for local communities and its renewed momentum within the VINCI Highways global network.
