Lisbon’s 25 de Abril Bridge celebrates 60 years of connecting communities
One of Lisbon’s most iconic landmarks is celebrating its 60th anniversary. Since opening in August 1966, the 25 de Abril Bridge has transformed mobility across the Tagus River, connecting Lisbon with Almada and the communities of the south bank and supporting the economic development of the wider metropolitan area. Today, the bridge remains one of the essential transport links of the Portuguese capital, with more than 300,000 people crossing it every day. Stretching 2.3 km across the Tagus, it carries both road and rail traffic and connects directly with Lisbon’s major road network to the north and the A2 highway towards the south of Portugal.

In Slovakia, Via Pribina highway completes full resurfacing programme ahead of schedule
A major full resurfacing programme has been completed ahead of schedule, while remaining open to traffic throughout the works on the Via Pribina highway, in Slovakia. Spanning 52 kilometres, the highway is operated by VINCI Highways and its partners under a public-private partnership with the Slovak Ministry of Transport. The programme represents the largest upgrade carried out on the infrastructure since it opened in 2011, reflecting VINCI Highways' long-term commitment to preserving the performance, safety and reliability of its concessions.

Confederation Bridge completes its largest modernization programme since opening
Ahead of the peak summer travel season, Confederation Bridge has completed the full resurfacing of its 12.9-kilometre deck, marking the largest modernization programme undertaken on the bridge since it opened to traffic in 1997. Delivered in just eight weeks in synergy with VINCI Construction, the project illustrates VINCI Highways’ ability to combine long-term concession management with the Group’s construction expertise to maintain strategic infrastructure at the highest standards.

Delivering a free-flow milestone in India
VINCI Highways has reached a new milestone in India with the opening of ViaPlus ’ first free-flow toll plaza in the country. The Daulatpura toll plaza on the Delhi–Jaipur Expressway is among the first to enter free-flow operation as India accelerates its transition towards multi-lane barrier-free tolling.
